The people Daniel trusts

Independent by design.
Collaborative when it counts.

Vigilante Studios is Daniel's independent practice—not a conventional agency or fixed staff. These longtime friends and specialists are people he can call on when a project genuinely benefits from their experience. Their profiles describe that trusted network; the portfolio remains centered on Daniel's work and creative direction.

01 / Ryan Mulford

From mentorship to a lasting creative partnership.

Dan first met Ryan when Ryan was a remarkably gifted young artist in his early teens. Dan mentored him, and before long they were working side by side to create VOICE Magazine. They have remained friends and occasional collaborators ever since.

02 / Darren McNally

A collaboration formed in San Francisco.

Dan met Darren at Academy of Art University in San Francisco, where Darren was a graduate student. Their shared interests quickly led to work on several projects, beginning a creative and technical partnership that continues today.

03 / Lenny Turner

Years of music, trust and inventive sound.

Dan and Lenny began making music together years before Lenny stepped in to help with VOICE Magazine. Their many recording projects gave Dan a firsthand view of Lenny's unusual genius for sound effects, engineering and solving audio problems in ways few people could.

04 / Michael Marchetti

A shared creative language since seventh grade.

Dan and Michael have been friends since seventh grade, spending their formative years drawing and creating together. Michael later joined Dan in San Francisco, where they worked on several Bay Area projects. They continue to build work that brings together exceptional creative talent, technology and hands-on craft.
